Tunisia-Monastir-Minister of Education: “New decisions will be taken to fight cheating in the baccalaureate”

Minister of Education, Fethi Sellaouti revealed on the sidelines of a working visit he made to Monastir that the ministry will soon disclose decisions to fight cheating in the baccalaureate, which has extended a lot and whose consequences are extremely severe for the credibility of the diplomas, specifying that a committee is currently operating on the development of a plan for this purpose.

On the other hand, Sellaouti said that his department is working with private education unions to form a plan to improve the situation of the private sector in Tunisia, recording a positive reaction from the private sector. During his visit, Sellaouti listened to the concerns of a number of teachers and civil society, around the tenure of educators and the acceleration of the transfer of credits assigned since 2008 to the Teboulba high school, which has many halls endangered with collapse and the growth in the capacity of the high school and the pilot middle school.
