Speaking with Tunisie Numerique,Director General of the Tunisian Union for Social Solidarity Monir Al Haji revealed that the social program related to Ramadan includes the distribution of 45,000 Ramadan baskets. The basket includes of all the materials employed by Tunisians during the holy month, at a rate of 5 people for 15 days, and their value varry from 100 And 120 dinars.
Hajji indicated that financial allocations worth 7 million dinars have been given , in addition to the distribution of food parcels, as 20,000 parcels will be distributed in , along with “Eid clothing” as well.
In addition to the efforts of the Ministry of Social Affairs in relation to funding transfers that include 340,000 families with a financial allocation valued at 40 million dinars, which will be allocated to the families at the start of the holy month and at the end of the month as Eid al-Fitr approaches.
The spokesman clarified that the Tunisian Union for Social Solidarity is in the process of distributing aid to all regions of the republic, and it is possible that by the ending of this week, all the aid will have reached its beneficiaries.
