Speaking to the radio, democratic current MP Nabil Hajjii confirmed that prime minister Hichem Mechichi visited France on Thursday, December 30, 2020.
According to Shems FM, the PM took the plane last night (flight number 3807), at 10:30 p.m., on an Air France plane, from Tunis Carthage airport to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. He will be back on January 2, 2021.
The PM is assumed to have gone on a trip for family reasons, the same source stated.
