Constitutional Law professor Mouna Kraiem announced today that by prolonging the exceptional measures until further notice, the President of the Republic has definitively stepped outside the scope of Article 80 of the constitution.
Indeed, these measures must strive to ensure, as soon as possible, the return to the regular functioning of the public authorities, she revealed.

She pointed out that the extension of the state of emergency for an indefinite period suggests that the Presidency of the Republic does not really have a plan and that it is improvising.
