Tunisia-Moussi:Kais Saied dissolved Parliament to save himself and not to save Tunisia

PDL leader Abir Moussi stated today that the Head of State Kais Saied dissolved parliament to save himself and not to save Tunisia. Calling the decision late, Moussi said her party had frequently called for the dissolution of parliament. She clarified that by resorting to Article 72 of the Constitution Kais Saied cancelled all his prerogatives, emphasising that he applies the texts of the Constitution as he pleases. As for the plenary session organized yesterday during which 116 deputies had voted in favour of the cancellation of the exceptional measures, Abir Moussi stated that the President of the Republic had recognized the legitimacy of the parliament  by letting the legislative institution stay in permanent session.
