Deputy Maher Madhioub from Ennahdha for Arab countries and the rest of the world urged the Minister of Foreign Affairs to push the government to raise as soon as possible a total of 10 million dollars in assistance of diplomatic missions abroad.
The expense to be raised will be given to the support of Tunisians abroad in this challenging period, he indicated in a letter written to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Maher Madhioub welcomed the decision to program flights for the repatriation of Tunisians living in Africa, emphasising the necessity to conclude this arrangement and speed up the repatriation of Tunisians residing in South Africa, Central Africa, Chad, Congo, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Ethiopia and Mauritania. He also called for a definitive solution to the problems of Tunisians in Algeria and Libya.
The MP also requested the minister to obtain a solution to the situations facing Tunisians in East Asia, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan and Malaysia.
Besides, Madhioub called for scheduling flights as soon as possible to repatriate Tunisians stranded in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
