The minister of Justice, Leïla Jaffel, transmitted this Wednesday, March 30, 2022, a correspondence to the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Tunis, to order the public prosecutor to initiate the required legal proceedings against a number of frozen MP. They are accused of creating a gang of criminals and of plotting against the internal security of the State.
The Minister sent her request to the Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Tunis, in accordance with Article 23 of the Penal Code, after the organization of a remote plenary session of Parliament whose activities are frozen.
