Citrus producers in the Nabeul region have launched a distress call, after the wreckage caused by frost on their plantations.
Piles of oranges and other clementines rot under the trees, sometimes even before the harvest starts.
Some producers estimate losses at 60, 70% of anticipated income.
They deplore the fact that the authorities are not even aware of this catastrophe, and despair of receiving any compensation.
