Tunisia-New health measures: Curfew starts at midnight

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, has decided to delay the curfew from midnight to 5 a.m as of August 19, according to a presidential statement released on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

  • Vaccinated people will have the right to partake in family and private events and events approved by the authorities with rigorous application of health protocol.
  • lifting of tables and chairs is obligatory from 22:00 p.m. in cafes and restaurants of all categories
  • travellers to Tunisia must submit a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours before check-in and carry out a 10-day self-quarantine upon arrival on Tunisian soil
