Tunisia-New Year: Prices of cakes increased by 20%

The president of the Tunisian Organization for Consumer Information (OTIC), Lotfi Riahi, revealed this Thursday, December 28, 2023, that the prices of cakes saw an increase of 20% on the occasion of the new year, compared to last year.

Riahi further explained that the price of medium-sized cakes ranges between 80 and 120 dinars, estimating that Tunisian families can no longer purchase them to celebrate the administrative year, reports private radio.
