Early elections need to be organized if the crisis persists, announced the general secretary of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) Noureddine Tabboubi yesterday, after the work of the administrative commission of the UGTT.
According to Mr Tabboubi, the UGTT has not yet removed the initiative for the national dialogue from the hands of the President of the Republic. Nonetheless, he called on Kais Saied to shoulder his responsibilities and give his proposals as soon as possible so that the central union can review them.
If the different parties do not come to a compromise, it would be unacceptable to leave the nation and its institutions paralyzed because it is the people who will ultimately shoulder the result of this failure, he added.
