Minister of Commerce Omar El Behi affirmed that the ALECA Convention will properly incorporate the agriculture and service sectors. Mr. El Behi emphasized that the government will not condone any convention that doesn’t serve Tunisia interest.
Representing an essential pillar in the Tunisian economy, the government will not adopt any convention until the agricultural sector rehabilitates itself.
In the same context, Mr. El Behi expressed that Tunisia is eagerly seeking to encourage and facilitate American investments and trade initiatives.
Hoping to become a gateway to the African continent, the minister proceeded to declare that the two countries relationships are progressing at a good pace.
