Tunisia-Parliament Presidency calls on Tunisians to stand by security and military forces

Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Rached Ghannouchi called on Tunisians to stand by the security and military forces in the battle against terrorism and all sorts of atrocities endangering the country’s security.

This appeal follows the terrorist attack against two National Guard officers (one killed) executed on Sunday morning at the Akouda crossing in El Kantaoui.

“This cowardly act will only further incite the security and military institutions to endeavour to protect the country from danger.”

The HPR Presidency submitted in this regard, condolences to the security and military institutions and to the family of martyr warrant officer Sami Mrabet, notably to his cousin Sami Abdel’al a depty of the Al Mostakbal bloc, and wishes of prompt recovery to warrant officer Rami Limam, who had been wounded in the attack
