Tunisia-PM Elyes Fakhfakh: I haven’t passed legal deadlines to step down from my positions or referral of my shares

Prime minister Elyes Fakhfakh stressed that he didn’t pass the legal deadline to step down from his position or the referral of his shares.

In an interview with Nawaat, he explained that he submitted his resignation from the positions he had occupied since April 15th, The PM affirmed to have presented to the  National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC), President Chawki Tabib.

Regrading his shares, the prime minister said he will refer his shares, stressing that the deadlines expire at the end of July following the measures adopted during the exceptional circumstances due to COVID-19.

On not notifying the public on the shares he owns, he wondered if it was necessary to inform the public, stressing that he declared all his assets.
