Prime minister Hichem Mechichi received the Tunisian dean of engineers Kamel Sahnoun in the attendance of the adviser to the head of governmentOussema Khriji.
During the meeting, Mr Mechichi revealed his respect for the engineers who gave priority to the national interest through the halt of the strike announced by the Tunisian Order of Engineers (OIT). He further indicated that the government will examine the suspension of wages for striking engineers while upholding the principle of work performed and taking into record their social conditions.
