The president of the republic Kais Saied received a delegation of MPs from the House of people representatives at Carthage presidential palace.
The head of the state launched many alerts and warnings, saying “Yes, I respect the legitimacy and the law however I will not allow Tunisia down and I will not let the institutions collapse. We are monitoring what is happening.”
The head of state added that he knows everything and that when the time arrives he will point the finger at those who aim for the stability of the country by providing the ground for chaos and preparing the most diabolical plans.
Mr Saïed once again warned those who rely on cowards and criminals. He ensured that he upholds the Constitution and the law and that everyone will shoulder their responsibilities towards the people.
The president warned people to the reappearance of forces that have been fighting against the revolution since 2011. “All their plans are now exposed and there is no dialogue with the criminals and those sought by justice,” he added.
“I respect the law but there is a Constitution which enables me to preserve Tunisia in the face of all threats. I will protect this country at any cost.”
