During an unexpected visit to the Interior Ministry, President of the Republic Kais Saied stated that lobbies are behind the deteriorating health situation in Tunisia.
He further believed that this state was due to poor political decisions adopted by the government authorities, emphasising that in this delicate period the administration must take brave decisions “and not obey those who have stolen this country” “At 6 p.m. there are no more subways, however people are still working at that time.” It would have been essential to coordinate with the Ministry of Transport, he revealed.
In the same vein, the President of the Republic stressed that the government often goes back on the decisions it takes on the health plan and that the scientific committee often takes decisions that stay dead letters.
