Tunisia-President Kais Saied: Military forces will intervene if necessary

President Kaïs Saïed visited, Monday, the localities of Ain Skhouna and Bir Soltane in the governorate of Kebili.

This visit comes against the backdrop of lethal clashes between citizens from Douz (Kebili governorate) and Beni Khedach (Medenine governorate), during the visit, the head of the state said that the military and security forces will intervene if necessary.

He stressed that Tunisia is “a unified nation as a whole and it is out of the question to stir regional conflicts, like those which have happened these days.

“I came here not solely to remedy the split, but additionally to remind us of the uniqueness of the country, every bit of its soil is for the Tunisians, we must set full sovereignty over our soil, our airspace and our waters territorial in accordance with the law, in order to form in the citizen a feeling of belonging to his homeland “. he revealed.
