Tunisia-Prison officers protest

 

Prison officers observed demonstration throughout the nation on Wednesday, December 9, to criticise their marginalization by the supervisory authorities.

They commanded to be treated on an equal footing with other security personnel, in special the internal order forces who profit from various bonuses that prison officers are denied, such as the bonus for overtime. They have warned of escalation if the authorities continue to turn a deaf ear
