Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi meets Lotfi Zitoun

House speaker and Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi announced he met Lotfi Zitoun this morning at the latter’s request.

This meeting comes after the meeting between Mr Zitoun and the President of the Republic Kais Saied and revolved around the suggestion of a meeting between the President of the Parliament and the President of the Republic, during which the two statesmen will be capable to address the acute crisis that the country is undergoing at the moment.

Believing that dialogue is the best solution, Rached Ghannouchi accepted this proposal, according to a statement released by the Ennahdha Movement.
