The value of Zakat Al Fitr in Tunisia this year has been set at 1750 millimes, the Mufti of the republic announced.
Zakat Al Fitr is a charity taken for the poor a few days before the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Its is a duty that is compulsory on every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult as long as he/she has the means to do so. The head of the household may pay the Fitrah on behalf of family members.
