Military patrols arrested Wednesday evening in the Remada buffer zone, six persons and seized two trucks loaded with smuggled Items.
The trucks were on the way to cross the buffer zone, patrols fired warning shots.
After examination, they found 27.000 cigarettes pack and 840 kg of Mu‘assel material worth more than 370.000 TND.
The detainees were delivered to the national guard to initiate legal proceeding against them.
