Tunisia-Repatriation of Tunisian nationals stranded in Libya put at halt

Tunisia’s Consulate General in Tripoli in Libya announced it had suspended the opening of the border crossing point for repatriation originally fixed for Friday of a new group of stranded Tunisians.

The consulate stated in a press release Friday the verdict arises from failure in the border crossing system for foreigners in the Libyan side.

The Tunisian Consulate General in Tripoli had chosen to open the border crossing point of Ras Jedir and enable the entry of Tunisian nationals stranded in the border crossing as of April 18 after performing necessary health procedures.
