Since the morning of Thursday, December 29, 2022, Tataouine has encountered a state of chaos and tension, while some residents have set fire to tires and blocked the road linking Tataouine to Médenine.
These protesters demand the immediate release of the spokesperson for the Al-Kamour coordination, Tarek Haddad, apprehended yesterday by the National Guard of Remada while he is the subject of 11 research terms and that is sentenced to a year in prison.
For its part, the coordination of El Kamour condemned , in a statement published this Thursday, December 29, 2022, the arrest of its spokesperson calling for his immediate release. The Coordination likewise threatened to escalate if Tarek Haddad was not released.
