Rym Mahjoub was elected as the new president of Afek Tounes on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Running for the presidency against the party’s executive director, Abderrahmane Belgacem, Rym Mahjoub secured the election by receiving 59.41% of the votes, while Abderrahmane Belgacem obtained 37.17%.
She now holds the position as the fourth president of the Afek Tounes party, which was established on March 28, 2011. Rym Mahjoub succeeds Fadhel Abdelkefi, who resigned from the presidency of the party on October 19, 2023.
