Tunisia- Said Jaziri [video]: Parliament’s office is weak and voting booth issue is problematical

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Secretary-General of “Errahma” party Said Jaziri called the parliamentary office “weak”. He revealed that the parliament speaker decays to impose himself and that several of these decisions are motivated by the “fear” of some MPs, notably “Noureddine Bhiri”. Furthermore, Jaziri said the office uses two measurements to deal with MPs.

He also mentioned the disagreement between the deputies on the nature of the secret ballot. Between those who favour a voting booth and those who prefer to write their votes on a piece of loose paper, today’s session is truly “threatened”, he stressed.
