President of the Republic declared, this Thursday, during the council of ministers which he chaired, that the next local and regional elections will take place on December 24, 2023.
He noted that the second round is after the proclamation of the results of the first. He clarified the choice of the date by the fact that it is the anniversary of the death of two martyrs of the revolution in Menzel Bouzaïene in 2010.
