President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the representative of the Tunisian-French society for agricultural development, Mohamed Lassâad Jeridi.
On this occasion, Mr. Jeridi informed the head of the state of the project, which he had already introduced to the Ministry of Agriculture.
This project consists, in fact, in employing fodder maize or silage to decrease the cost of milk production and reduce the cost of red meats.
According to the same press release, this fodder was utilized before independence but has gradually disappeared, while other nations still use it. The meeting also concentrated on the possibility of creating corporate citizens that can facilitate the breeding of dairy cows and reduce prices and the import of fodder.
