Former health minister Samira Maraï said general lockdown is no longer effective in curbing the coronavirus pandemic.
She affirmed that Tunisia has not yet passed the 3rd wave of the Coronavirus, emphasising that the 4th wave is programmed for October. Maraï has therefore revealed that it is necessary to achieve collective immunity in the fight against Covid-19.
According to Maraï, 5,140 deaths were recorded in July.
