The general secondary education federation denounced the “one-sided” approach adopted by the education ministry.
It called on the department to reverse all measures decided outside the path of participatory education reform, holding it fully accountable for what may result from this approach.
The federation considered that these measures are improvised and serve certain influential people seeking to impose agendas.
“To take such arbitrary unilateral measures as the adoption of a new educator evaluation system in such a sensitive situation will only contribute to further blurring the status of the education system,” it is explained.
“All forms of protest deemed appropriate will be adopted to deal with the systematic sabotage of the education system and the trafficking in the fate of our children and their future”, underlines the federation which expressed its support for “the constructive participatory approach”.
