Under the framework of fighting tobacco speculation and monopolization, National Guard services of Ettadhamen and the economic control services of the Regional Directorate of Commerce of Ariana, seized, on March 30, 2021, 18139 packets of local and foreign cigarettes packed on board a private vehicle in Ettadhamen, with a total cost of 85 thousand dinars.
The needed reports have been drawn up against the violators and the marketing of the products through authorised channels and the securing of the amount in the state treasury.
The Ariana Regional Directorate of Commerce hailed the efforts of the Ariana regional security authorities and economic control officers to shield consumers and preserve their purchasing power.
