Tunisia –Serial murders in Sousse… source from prosecution specifies

The official spokesperson of the Sousse 1 Court of First Instance, Wissem Al-Sherif, confirmed in a statement to Al-Jawhara FM that there is no connection between the two separate incidents whose details were disclosed to Oued Ghneim and the Bouhassina district of Sousse.

Al-Sharif confirmed that the first incident implicated the finding of a decomposing body in Oued Ghoneim, remarking that forensic results confirmed that the date of death was several months ago and that the head had not been decapitated, but rather disfigured by decomposition.

He added that the second incident involved the discovery of the body of a woman (married and mother of a child) at her house in the city of Bouhassina.

Al-Sharif reported that the victim’s father attempted to contact her and, when he was unable to reach her, he took the initiative to contact the owner of the apartment she was renting. The victim was discovered with traces of blood, and after examination, it was found that there were stab wounds to the neck and a deep wound to the neck from the front.

Al-Sharif confirmed that the public prosecutor had authorized the opening of an inquiry to uncover the circumstances of the incident.

He said that, moreover, a fatal road accident was registered in front of the Sahloul hospital, resulting in the death of a woman, denying the existence of other accidents in the area, referred to the court of first instance of Sousse 1, contrary to what is stated on social networks regarding the existence of a series of organized murders, linked to a supposed serial killer, in the Sahloul region.
