The Ministry of the Interior has issued a road notice, on the occasion of the Tokyo International Conference on Africa’s development, indicating that a series of roads will be shut down from Thursday, August 25 Until Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 06:00 am to 11:00 pm.
The ministry has announced the banning on the circulation of all trucks and heavy goods vehicles carrying risky products on the following roads:
-The national road n ° 9 (route Tunis -la Marsa)
-The Z4 route (avenue du Maghreb Arabic)
-The express and tourist route of Gammarth
-The Express route Tunis -La Goulette, the section linking Rades bridge to Tunis Marine TGM station.
In addition, the interior department called truck drivers, heavyweight automobiles and transporters of dangerous products to use the following circuits:
-For motorists from the National Route 1: Boumhel crossroads, Boujardga crossroads, Route Naâssen, Fouchana Sidi Hassine, route Route X, Menihla route towards Borj Toule.
-For motorists from the national route 8: Borj Touil junction, Menihla route, X route, Rocade Sidi Hassine Fouchana, Naâssen route, Boumhel crossing towards the national road 1 (…).
