The public prosecutor at the Sfax 1 Court of First Instance and spokesperson, Faouzi Masmoudi revealed today that 5 migrants were killed in the sinking of a boat near the coast of Sfax.
7 people are missing and 23 others have been saved.
According to him, 35 mostly Tunisians were on board the boat, including women and children. An inquiry has been opened to reveal the circumstances of this incident.
