Sfax declared yesterday in a press release that the rate of infection in the delegations of Sfax city, Sfax West, Sfax South, Sakiet Ezzit, and Thyna, had surpassed 200 / 100,000 inhabitants and the Discovery of contaminations by the Indian strain (Delta) of the coronavirus, as a result, a targeted lockdown in the aforementioned delegations has been decreed, which means that in addition to the general measures taken by the central authorities:
- Cafes and restaurants will be banned from serving their customers on-site from 4 p.m. with the lifting of chairs and tables
- Weekly markets will be forbidden from July 4
- Commercial spaces will no longer be able to surpass 50% of their reception capacity.
- Closure of games, sports and party rooms, and Moorish baths.
These decisions will be applicable between July 4 and July 17, according to the same source.
