Tunisia-Sfax: The unions of one of the pasta brands condemn the raids carried out against their warehouse

The members of the base unions of the group of one of the pasta brands under the UGTT condemned the raids against their company within the framework of the battle against speculation by law enforcement. They likewise welcomed the anti-monopoly campaigns carried out within the framework of the law.

The members of the union condemned the search of their warehouse which, according to them, is devoted to the sorting of food products inconsistent with international quality standards. The reason why the institution resorted to the destruction of these products, according to their statements.

The members of the union in question called on the authorities concerned to interfere in order to find a solution to the closed Sfax landfill, saying that they have already exploited it to destroy expired food waste. They furthermore called on the security units to apologize to the said company considering that they were the subject of severe attacks.
