Tunisie Numérique correspondent in Sfax reported that a fire broke out in a storage warehouse for agricultural chemicals in the industrial zone at Gabes road
The same source stated that civil protection units went to the site to carry out the required interventions to contain the fire.
According to the account of one of the workers, a blacksmith was carrying out maintenance on a tank in the warehouse, and sparks were spread during the welding operation of the molten metal, thus beginning the fire which impacted the tanks and hazardous materials around the site.
