Tunisia-Sousse: Gas tank explodes in Taxi, driver in critical condition

A 64-year-old taxi driver was rushed to the hospital after sustaining severe burns after a gas tank exploded inside his car in Wadi Genem, Sousse. He is currently in the intensive care unit at CHU Sahloul.

In a statement to Mosaïque FM, Colonel Burhan Achouri president of the civil protection operations in Sousse said that the victim was going to fill the taxi with gas before it exploded in the house  garage

The explosion prompted material damage, including shattering the garage, the taxi and another car, no casualties were recorded. firefighters intervened to extinguish the fires.
