The General Federation of Electricity and Gas has revealed that it has decided to observe a general strike on December 7 and 8, 2022.
This decision was made following the rejection of the supervisory authority to sign and apply the minutes linking to the accord of May 5, 2022, with the union party, and to claim the management premium for the year 2020 and the exceptional promotion for the STEG 60th anniversary.
It is remembered that the department of offices and public establishments of the Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT) transmitted a strike notice on November 25 to the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines, to the Minister of Affairs social, to the Inspector General of Labor and Reconciliation and to the Chairman and CEO of STEG.
