The mayor of Tabarka, Abdallah Rjeybi, stepped down yesterday to the other members of the municipal council, according to a statement released by the municipality of Tabarka on its official page.
This decision is due to the lack of resources and funds, confronted with the increase of the municipality and the areas within its jurisdiction, which is expected to prevent the official from carrying out his mission and to live up to the expectations of those who elected him.
