Tunisia – Tataouine hospital without a radiologist for three years

The Tataouine Regional Hospital has been working for three years without radiologists despite the presence of all the required equipment, including the high-performance scanner.

X-ray technicians at the hospital perform the exams and transmit them for interpretation to radiologists outside the hospital.

Several patients are likewise forced to travel to other governorates to be X-rayed.
