Tunisia – tax authorities catch up content creators and other service providers on social networks

The Minister of Finance has revealed the establishment of a cell tasked with investigating and utilizing information collected by collection authorities through social media platforms concerning individuals or activities to address specific situations.

She disclosed that 140 individuals, including content creators and service providers on social networks, are under investigation by tax control services, with a total tax amounting to 14 million dinars being levied against them.
