Tunisia – The court refuses release of Wadie Al Jari

The indictment chamber of the Tunisian Court of Appeal declined to free the president of the Tunisian Football Federation, Wadie Al Jari, while referring the case against him to the investigating judge in charge of the investigation “to complete incomplete research”. .”

It should be stated that the investigating judge at the Court of First Instance of Tunis had issued a prison warrant against Wadie Al Jari, in the context of the case connected to a complaint filed against him by the Ministry of Youth and Sports involving a contract concluded with one of the technical executives of the Tunisian football federation, before the investigating judge decided to render a decision to classify without further inquiry and referral of Wadie Al-Jari, before the Indictment Chamber of the Tunisian Court of Appeal.

As a reminder, Jari is detained pending a second investigation file published by the investigating judge of office 35 concerning funds belonging to one of the African championships.
