The Ministry of Women and Family Affairs has promptly announced that they will be taking legal action against using children in political campaigns.
The decision befalls after an emerging video recorded children being used for political reasons.
The Ministry announced in an official communication that it has carefully coordinated with child protection services and the Public Prosecutor’s Office to take legal measures to adequately protect these children and their families.
The ministry called upon all parents not to involve their children in political campaigns and uphold the best interests of the children.
