Tunisia – The prosecution should initiate proceedings against Rached Ghannouchi, Oussama Khelif and Fathi Ayedi

Expert in constitutional law, Rabeh Khraïfi, confirmed, this Tuesday, through a post published on his Facebook page, that the frozen house speaker defied the orders of the general power, that is to say, the Presidency of the Republic, by not upholding the decision to freeze the activities of the parliament and this by commanding the frozen deputies Oussama Khelifi and Fathi Ayedi, to represent him at the congress of the world union of parliaments which is taking place in Vienna, and where Oussama Khelifi spoke on behalf of Rached Ghannouchi and attacked his country and power, requesting for help from foreign forces to regain power.
Khraïfi explained that these reprehensible acts are sanctioned by article 315 of the penal code, and the prosecution is permitted to prosecute them on the basis of this article.
