Tunisia-The scientific committee was not in favor of lifting the restrictions

Member of the national scientific committee Jalila Ben Khelil affirmed that this commission would have liked to keep the preventive measures taken a few months ago.

Speaking to Mosaique FM, the speaker stressed that members of the commission were not against relaxing sanitary measures, but advocating the severe application of the sanitary protocol and the prohibition of all forms of gathering.

As for the protests, recently organized by political parties, Jalil Ben Khelil maintained the state should have been tougher on the issue.
