Tunisia-Tunis-Carthage Airport: Seizure of a gun from a Tunisian passenger

The spokesperson for the Directorate General of National Security, Walid Hakima announced today that a Tunisian passenger in possession of a gun and 14 bullets was detained at Tunis-Carthage International Airport.
According to the same source, this passenger landed yesterday from a European country. While examining his luggage, a pistol and 14 bullets were discovered. Hakima further said that the gun belonged to her husband and that she did not know it was in her bag.
She attempted to conceal the weapon for fear her children would find it. The woman alleged that her husband does not use this weapon and that he is not a member of a terrorist organization. The public prosecutor commanded the arrest of the passenger and the opening of an inquiry .
