Navy units on Wednesday mounted an Egyptian fishing boat illegally accessing the territorial waters area, southeast of Kerkennah with 17 people on board.
A statement from the Department of National Defense announced the fishing boat declined to comply before being chased and forced to stop.
It was then pulled to the Sfax maritime base to make legal arrangements, said the same source.
