Tunisia-Tunisia is seeking to establish a recycling agency

 

After 20 years of extensive research and necessary preparations, The minister of environment and sustainable development Mr Mokhtar Hammami announced on Thursday, that waste recycling should promptly enter its implantation phase. The minister called upon the local establishment of recycling facilities in Nabeul, Sousse, Sfax, Gabes and other cities in a deadline that doesn’t surpass three months.

He further called upon municipalities to benefit from funds and loans to create these facilities. Stressing they will achieve great profits in a few years of their creation, which will enable the recovery of the value of these loans.

Furthermore, he earnestly urged civil societies and businessmen to properly invest in these projects, which he described as profitable, especially after lifting obstructions that prevented their implementation.
