Observers on Wednesday saw some changes in the positioning of the national army units securing the parliament headquarters in Bardo. Opposed to the rumours which have circulated, this is not a question of a withdrawal of army units, but of a repositioning around and within the siege. Consequently, the armoured units of the army moved away from the parliament portals, to reposition themselves inside the building, and profited from the reinforcement of additional units, while the security of the external environment of the parliament was entrusted to the special units of the Ministry of the Interior.
These changes seem to have been prompted by reports relating to the possibility of demonstrations around the parliament, which are expected to take place from this Friday.
